Testimonials
"As a smaller scale organisation... Creative UK is an ideal vehicle for us to be able to have conversations with policymakers and with people that are developing our sector and having influence over the sense of direction of our sector."
"There are few cultural organisations in UK with such authority and standing as Creative UK; the higher education sector gains significantly from the rigour of their research, and the power of their advocacy. As a leading arts education organisation in the UK, Arts University Bournemouth is proud to be a member of the organisation. We gain significantly from the work of Creative UK, from our shared network of contacts, our combined enthusiasm for innovation, and our joint commitment to the UK's creative future."
"The Fringe Society plays a key role in lobbying and advocating for Fringe artists and venues; in Scotland and across the UK. Our membership to Creative UK allows us to layer our research and insight onto the national picture of Creative UK's campaigns to enhance the effectiveness and impact of our message, as well as align us to campaigns that make policy makers and funders take notice, building the impact of our work exponentially. Creative UK brings a broad range of voices and sectors to the table that we would otherwise find difficult to reach and this presents opportunities for new perspectives, collaborations and insights into our place within the Creative Industries sector and our collective voice for change."
“Creative UK membership is integral to what we do at the Creative Academy. For us it's all about designing a curriculum that really responds to the employers’ needs and Creative UK, for me, provides that opportunity to really bring together employers and education to make sure that we are getting those young people the right skills and into the right workplaces."
"The wider creative sector is a jewel in our economy and one of the UK’s fastest growing sectors. As a world leader in arts and entertainment, the UK has become a global hub for production and a magnet for direct foreign investment. Creative UK is playing a hugely important and influential role in championing and representing our industry, both within the UK and beyond these shores."
"Pearson's membership with Creative UK enables us to take part in sector wide forums and discussions, giving us the direct contact with industry we rely on to ensure our qualifications remain current and support progression into the creative sector. They support our interests in creative education and industry related initiatives by lobbying government, speaking on our behalf at educational conferences and feeding into regulatory consultations."
“Creative UK is a really vital organisation… having an organisation like Creative UK to advocate for the power of creativity but also to really clearly identify where investment is needed to ensure that the creative industries thrive, that the skills pipeline is in place, and that everyone can see the benefits of the creative industries on our economy and on our communities.”
